This beautiful Ceres (wheat) pattern coffee pot from Elsmore & Forster. Ceres (one of the most collected wheat patterns), was named after the Roman goddess of agriculture.
Elsmore & Forster registered the shape in 1859 - other ironstone manufacturers used similar shapes.

This coffee pot is approximately 11" tall, with lid. While the piece in excellent condition for its age, there are some manufacturing flaws, that are mostly hidden within the patterns, and there is some "tea staining". Please see photos for detail, as they are part of the description.

The date stamp on the bottom of the pot is unclear. The year code appears to be a W to me, corresponding with the year 1865. Given the layout of the stamp, it can be at least confirmed to be made between 1842-1867.

Check out the rest of my store for more of this pattern, and other beautiful ironstone pieces.

If you would like to bundle multiple items, please note that I will refund shipping overages. Etsy's shipping calculations for multiple items are typically over the top because they can't account for adjusting size and weight of packaging ;-)
